Where our listings come from, and how we keep them current
Every home on Home Connections was advertised by an NDIS provider on its own website. Here's how we gather them, what each listing tells you and what it doesn't.
Gathered from providers' own websites
Many NDIS providers publish the homes they have on their own websites, on a homes or vacancies page. Each week we read those public pages and record the facts each home lists: the type of home, the suburb, the number of bedrooms, places available, the SDA design category and, where the provider says, who the home suits and the support on offer.
We don't copy providers' photos or descriptions. Every listing links straight to the provider's own page, so you always see the full details where they were published.
A date on every home
Each home shows the date we last saw it on the provider's website, so you can tell at a glance how current it is. When a home disappears from the provider's website two weeks running, it drops off Home Connections. Places come and go quickly, so it's always worth checking with the provider before you plan a visit.
What a listing is, and what it isn't
We list homes; we don't run them. Home Connections isn't an NDIS provider, and we don't inspect, check or approve any home or provider. A listing means a provider is advertising that home, not that we recommend it. To ask about a home, arrange a visit or check a place is still free, contact the provider through the link on the listing.
Providers don't pay to be listed, and every home is shown the same way.
Checking a provider is registered
To check whether a provider is registered, use the NDIS Commission's provider search. Search the NDIS Commission's register.
Getting a listing corrected or removed
If you're a provider and something about one of your homes is wrong, or you'd rather your homes weren't listed, let us know through our provider form and we'll fix it or take it down within the week.
