Translink route 608 runs through Bargara, with stops at Nielson Park, Kelly's Beach and Palm Lake Village, then on to Bundaberg's city centre. Nielson Park, beside the surf club, has a refurbished amenities block with new accessible toilets and showers. In Bundaberg West, Bundaberg Aquatic Centre has ramp entry and platform lifts into all pools. A shared hoist serves the 25 m lap pool and the 25 m program pool. The aquatic centre also has adult change tables with a hoist, and if you hold a Companion Card your companion gets in free.
