Serendip Sanctuary on Windermere Road has wide, flat paths of compacted gravel that Parks Victoria says suit non-motorised and electric wheelchairs. Every feature and area of the sanctuary's Visitor Centre is accessible, and the picnic area has accessible tables and disabled parking. Serendip Sanctuary opens daily from 8am to 4pm. CDC routes 10 and 12 start at Lara Station. CDC says all of its buses are "low floor and fully accessible". Lara Swimming Pool opens from November to March, but its page describes no access features.
